This Price guide has been helpful to me for years. In 2011 I could no longer find new ones on the iternet.

I have been using this one ever since, but prices do change. I understand that they do still make it in some form.

There are websites that give prices, but not for all conditions and grades. Does anyone know the story of what happened to this catalog and what it's current equivalent may be?

Good question.

Linn's subscribers have access to it as part of the digital library, but FALL 2010 appears to be the most current edition.

Is the section on "specialized by grade" for classic stamps only?

The price for that catalog is frightening. This would be clever by Scott. Eliminating the $20.00 reference and making us spend $80.00 as the only way to get it, in another catalog.

That's exactly what they did. I used to purchase the graded section every year but they got smart and now you have to buy the bigger specialized edition.

I bought mine from Amos Amos Hobby Publishing <dealersales@amosmediaonline.com> for $76 including S&H. Everyone else wanted $99 for the same thing.

You can go to Linns' Stamps and if you have a ipad or iphone you can download an introductory for free on this book and other scott book. The intro has everything you can use. It has grades and the new numbers, identification ect... If you want to purchase you can for only $29.99 but it is for ipads and iphones only. This is what I use. Very easy to take to stamps shows or if you are purchasing from dealer

I have the 2011 Scott Specialized and in the middle of the catalog there is a section titled "2011 SCOTT Stamp Values, U.S. Specialized by Grade" Is this what you are looking for? It starts with #1 & goes through 1053 then covers air mails, special delivery, dues, officials and more.

Yes. It appears I will have to give in to Scott's strategy and buy their entire specialized catalog. Thanks for the detailed description!.

Again Amos Publishing has the best price $69.95 plus 7 something for Shipping. It took about a week for me to get it after I ordered it using my Debit Card.
