Wondering what the recommended gauge is for checking the different die cuts on modern flag stamps?

How do you tell a 9.75 die cut from a 10.25?

I don't see why you can't use the same perf gauge you use for checking older US stamps (unless it is only marked for halves instead of quarters.
I just use a mm ruler and count the number of perfs - you should easily be able to tell 9.75 from 10.25 that way.

I wouldn't be without my Stanley Gibbins Instanta perf guage. Graduated from 9.75 (per 2 cm) to 18 (per 2cm). Flexible and accurate.

this is also hard for me.
i have used my plate numbers to use as a guage.
but this still is hard
