Hi , I have this 1861 Franklin stamp. I cant figure out what scott number it is. Also is it double transfer/impression? Used or unused?. Please help. Thank you

Looks like a blue cancel to me but a much larger and higher resolution scan would be needed to tell what type and scott number it is.

From the small scan it is hard to tell. At first look it appea to be a Scott 7, type II

Scan stamp at 1200 dpi. Upload image to a hosting site such as photobucket, copy and paste the "IMG" tag into thread.

Ok, you're almost there. FIrst, when scanning, crop the area around the stamp to just a hair outside the stamp, that way we can see the full stamp.
Then upload it to photobucket, after you save the image in photobucket you will see a box with 4 headers.

And the one you want, "IMG" left click on the text in the IMG box and the word copied will appear.then when replying to the post, paste int your post.

Mr Raj, it is a Scott US #9, because the line at the top and bottom of the ovals are re-cut. Can't see if it is a double impression, and it certainly looks used, but hard to tell either without it being in hand.
