Got these in the mail today, bought them from Mike McClung:

First, a cover with a pair of 64B, rose-pink:

And the stamps with a 1200dps scan:

It's kind of neat that they're both different, as all of these pinks and rose pinks are-- the 2nd stamp is a little bit darker than the first one.

Next, I bought on ebay, Mike's listing of 6- 64B's-- I couldn't believe it was only $20....

And a few covers I bought at our Nashville show this weekend:

A nice fancy cancel from Louisville:

A nice fancy cancel from Boston, and the hand cancel from the corporation mailing?

A great cover-- never have seen a cover from Washington State with a 65 on it. Washington was still a territory at this time:

Hope you enjoy! Ray

Ray,

Is the top cover from 1867? I only ask because the line of the 4th digit is not parallel with the 1st digit. If it is 1867, then that would be a very late usage.

Art

I wish I could have made the show.

Hey Art-- I can't make out the year date but have to assume its '61. The rose pink on the EKU cover is from Baltimore IIRC

Yes because there aren't any pop star references above- thankfully.
