hi all

i have found this booklet in one of my kiloware purchases,
this is not cancelled on the first day of issue..but within a month or so.
i see that a used pane list for $4.50 in my 2011 scotts..a assume the person that had this cancelled was a collector.
if there are 2 panes I guess that the booklet list for at least $9.00.

i never really looked too hard at this before now.

if I may as what is the value of this item.
i am just curious. [please ...i only made a copy of the first sheet of stamps]

oh...is there always a plate number in each booklet?

thanks

Value of the item as being "courtesy cancelled" and not really used for postage will likely devalue the item to another collector. On the other hand, having them in an unexploded booklet may be desirable to some. A lot has to do with the collecting interests of a potential buyer.

One curious thing is that the stamps are postmarked February 8, 1991 (which was a Friday) but the cover is postmarked February 10, 1991 (which was a Sunday). I'm not familiar with too many post offices open on Sunday that would enable one to get a postmark like that, but I suppose one has to consider that it was back in 1991 and a large city such as San Diego would have been more likely to have Sunday hours back then.

It must have been favor-cancelled at some stamp show. At some stamp shows, USPS will have a table there -- sometimes for the duration of the show (including Sunday).
