You've got my vote if you want the job Phil. On the other hand, I'll be glad to do it myself. Someone just needs to decide.

I think this is a fantastic opportunity for the family. Of course, I can hear you thinking "Once we get them sucked into an APS membership, we can start working on an ISGC hookup!"

A word of caution. Any form of elections for Presidents etc. can cause in fighting. Tread carefully. A club on the coin forum tried this and it nearly destroyed them.

Hi Guys, I am already APS Rep for the Stamptrotters of Kingston N.Y. so I am not interested in an office..note: the APS Rep. MUST be an APS member..the president of our club is not an APS member...the fellows that are discussing this project I doubt very much would fight over anything...we would be doing this for a positive cause not a negative one !!

Thank you all for the interest in this idea. Let it be known that I do not want to cause the downfall of the group or any negativity in any way. It has been said before that this group is "unspoiled" and I want to keep it that way.

I also have my APS dues come up recently and have not sent my payment yet.

As for me being smarter than a 5th grader, I am not sure. I do have a lot of pop culture factoids and useless knowledge in my head, though.

I would love to see the Lincoln show cover. Always interested in new material.

I'm sure all will be fine, please don't over-react to Steve and I's posts. It's just voices from experience being overprotective moderators.

Good ! it looked like the topic had been dropped recently..lets get it on ..the important thing is that the APS has the reps home address and phone number for contact purposes..except for handling the APS circuit books..which I don't think we would want to be responsible for and sending the dues payment yearly..the Rep has a pretty soft job !!
