The Battle of White Plains souvenir sheet (Scott #630 US) can be bought in different cut sizes. All my other souvenir sheets have mounts made especially for them. But getting one for Scott #630, and preventing it from sliding around in the mount would be difficult because there is no exact size. How did you mount it? Did you buy the closest size mount off the shelf? Modify one off the shelf? Even make your own?

I finally got a deal on a good one and want it to look nice in the album.

Thanks
-IBFS

If it is the same size as The World of Dinosaurs Scott #3136. There are no mounts made that size. Go to Walmart's and up by the Cash Registers are packages of Avery Advantage Sheet Protectors. They are Acid Free, PVC free, Archival Safe. They come in packages of 50 for about $5.00 a package. Trust me they are safe. Or you can pay Mystic Stamp Company $14.50 for a package of ten of the exact same thing. I have stamps I put in them three or four years ago and they are doing just fine. The pages are clear though. No black backing.

For this sort of thing, I buy mounts that are the right height,
but wider than what I need, then cut to width.
I started cutting with scissors, but found a mount cutter that
makes great straight edges. Making your own mounts out of bulk
stock is fun and makes hard to fit stamps, like those with
selvege, easy to deal with.

According to Ihobb.com, it is 204 x 153, which is also the size for the Bicentennial souvenir sheets.

Thanks Guys Mystic Stamp Company lists their largest mount at 161x161 which is no where's large enough. So what size would the World of Dinosaurs Scott #3136 take. Does Showguard have a scaled sheet to measure the pages by?

Just echoing what ratio said. This is easy and really the best way to get custom-fitted mounts.

Dimensions 160mm W x 136mm H. I was about to take Kirk's advice and cut the sheet into pieces for easier mounting but then I found this...
