I have finally reached the end (almost) of separating a collection and selling off the items that I needed to in order to recover my investment. The idea was to pick out the certain items that I wanted to keep the most and selling the rest. The tough part was selling quite a few items that I'd love to add to my collection but sacrifices had to be made :)

Here is what I got to keep out of the deal. The good thing is that all of the items shown here ended up being free of cost.

2 - Scott 36B's. The first is Mint, original gum, hinged. The 2nd I have yet to check in retro reveal to see if it's unused or not.

Mint never hinged 30¢ Columbian

Mint never hinged Plate block Scott 1053

I'll add more as I scan them.

WOW stallzer beautiful stuff and the price is to die for! Seriously - CONGRATULATIONS!

The [img] tags have the [url] in front of them. you have to copy and paste the [img] tag onto a notepad page to edit it out first. It's a total Pain In The Butt too! I wish they would fix it soon. Also after the latest update it decided on it's own to "organize" the files so now you have hunt through however many pages you have to find your newest image!!

Thanks Jeff. It appears to only affect the images on this site. I just posted an image on another Stamp forum that I belong to and it works perfectly and does not show the lines of code like the images above so it must be how the IMG tags work on this site. Anyone ?

Great stamps stallzer and congratulations.

It is always satisfying to fill in a gap in an album with an illusive and hard to get stamp and in good condition.

You can paste the code into the typing area on this site, then just delete the stuff you don't need. All you need is the ["IMG]blahblahblah[/IMG"] (without quotation marks, obviously). That's what I do when I post pics from flickr.

A Scott 656. Something I didn't catch the first 3 times through one of the US albums but luckily I did end up taking a better look at it. A very nice catalog value on this one.

Scott 337

Scott 339

Scott 239 with almost superb centering

Really nice material! Definitely a treat to see ! The centering on the 30c columbain ( used ) is nearly perfect.
The SON - New York cancel with the p is interesting ( too me ).

Thank you for your post !

Yes, 1 year later and we're still sorting things out.... And once again I struggle with finding watermarks. I decided to kind of (strong emphasis on kind of) clean up my stamp desk and get some of the duplicates listed up on ebay when I found a vario page full of NTBI's (need to be identified) and in comes the watermark to mess with me.

I have placed these 3 in lighter fluid and onto the back of the display card that I use for this sort of thing and see no watermark.

First, this odd looking one. The only reason I'm not satisfied in not finding the watermark is due to the difference in value between watermark VS no watermark so I'm convinced this has one, but I can't find it.

Dipped and scanned and my eyes still can't see one

The other 2

This one I probably won't go through much more effort due to the crease.

Or this one due to the centering.

These 2 were easier to identify.

The ultramarine 1 cent stamp can only be the unwatermarked 246. Also, lighter fluid will expose faults in addition to watermarks. Creases will flash to a lighter color while the stamp is drying.
