Hello people!

I hope this is the correct place to post this. :)
I'm a 28 years old person from Brazil and I started collecting stamps for almost a year. Most part of my stamps I bought from charities of Lutheran church in my country after I saw their advertising in a Brazilian forum. They have nice stamps with a nice price. And after all, I can trust I'm helping their social projects. I also enjoy being in Postcrossing forum where I can get new stamps in their tags.

In the beginning I started collecting stamps from Germany and Brazil but now I decided to put more themes to my collection. Although I save every stamp that falls in my hands, even if they're from themes I'm not interested yet, it gives me the possibility to exchange with other people.

Last year I bought a huge pack of Christmas stamps and received tons of Brazilian repeated ones (glued in paper) so if anyone is interested in trading, just contact me. I also have many repeated Brazilian definitive stamps from the last ten years glued in paper (they're self adhesive) and I'd like to exchange them by definitives from USA/Portugal/Spain from the last ten years. I have very few USA stamps (mainly those landscapes definitive ones) and it would be nice to get more. Because I'm in the beginning of my collection, I don't mind trading definitives because you know, even them a newbie doesn't have. :p

So, if anyone is interested or have any doubt about anything from my country, just contact me. I'm not a specialist (I'm a newbie) but who knows, maybe I can help. I also have postcards from Brazil if anyone is interested and I can exchange them for stamps.

I'm looking also for Brazilian stamps released in 2006. I can't find them here in Brazil neither in auction websites for higher prices.

I'm sorry for my imperfect English. If my mistake is so ugly you can tell me.

Thanks.

Thanks, khj! Nice to know people can understand what I wrote. :)
I'm going to post when I think I can help people. Sometimes they have difficulties to find information about this part of the world where I'm living.

Hello Brisingamen, Brazil is a fairly popular country and I am sure there are people here that can help..did you see the ground rules ? In order to buy, sell and trade here a person must have 50 posts and 2 weeks as a member.. We understand you..so ask a lot of questions and get your 50 posts...the ones in the introduction thread do not count....

I didn't know that Brazil is a fairly popular country for collectors. So it should be more stamps around but it's so difficult to find commemorative ones of the last years here in Brazil except if you pay A LOT. 2006 stamps just vanished. I can't find them in the post office, charities or auctions. The clerk told me they disappeared so if someone has them don't throw away!

Yes, I've been reading the rules before posting. I really enjoy being in international forums so I'm quite used to them. But this one had some different rules so I had to pay attention (like this one you wrote). I'm not sure I'm able to post 50 times but I'll try to look for topics in which I can contribute. For awhile I'm still observing and trying to learn. :)

Until this moment I got a feeling that most part of people here prefer older stamps, is this true? Most part of topics I've been reading are related to older stamps.

I haven't seen it before, it's a wonderful stamp! One of the best I've seen from the Brazilian 1980's!
