Wondering how common this is. The upper left triangle is incomplete.

Unfortunately the U.S. (Scott catalog) does not list many printing varieties. I just sorted out a collection which has around 100 of the baby banknotes with Triangles so I'll run through them this weekend to see if I can find any that compare.

Thanks. I remember a previous thread on a very similar topic, but could not locate it. Probably just under-inking, but thought it was interesting.

I saw a previous thread too with upper left triangle missing two segments. It looked like good inking, but may have been from plates that needed cleaned. Dust? But if so still odd for two similar triangles to show.

The other thread was a 2c value. Search triangle as a keyword should get you to it.
