Dear community,

I am new here on this board, am from germany and seek for help regarding US stamps.
On the internet I found very interesting sites like 1847.com/thesweedishtiger/jamesdire already.

These are really helpful sources on the one hand, but unfortunately, I guess due to leck of overall knowledge, I am not able to identify some stamps properly.

So I kindly I ask you to perhaps give me help to identify the following three stamps per Scott no. and type.

my guess was: left one=Scott 444? / middle = 491? / right = 492?

Thanks for your kind attention.

best regards

Breitner

They all look like Scott 492 to me. You will need to find out if they have Watermarks. Try scanning each stamp individually and then cropping the waste area around the Stamp, then post the scans to help us identify the type. Scott 491 is a pretty scarce item and would need to be certified, with that being said you can pretty much rule that one out. 444 is a possibility but you need to find the watermark to verify.
