Can someone please help me with these stamps? I know nothing about stamps, these were my grandfathers stamps. I want to sell them eventually but I wanted to see if there are any that might be very valuable that I should maybe hold onto for the kids. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have a lot of them so I will post a few at a time.

Thank you!

Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, pinkgeek!

Your stamps range from very common (4c Lincoln) to minor premium (5c Pilgrim Tercentenary). But in general, your stamps lean toward the "common" end of things (minimum catalog value to $1-$2). Nothing in there that will pay for your retirement. The 5c Pilgrim Tercentenary catalogs for very roughly ~$50 for unused and ~$100 for mint never hinged. However, condition and centering is extremely important. Your pair has average centering, which essentially will cut out 75%-90% off the catalog value. Having the plate number, even though not a plate block, will give a very modest premium (+10% to +25%). Any other problems -- crease, dirt, gum disturbance, bent teeth... will reduce the value even more.
