I saw this listing on
ebay and was taken back by the Brookline, Mass. cancel that has the town name in a sort of banner with some fancy artwork around it:

Further, it appears to be not just a conventional handstamp postmark, but the typical purple stamp that it commonly used by clerks at post office windows.
Does anyone have any additional information on this postmark? I can't say that I recall seeing anything similar. For convenience, I enlarged the postmark and reoriented it for easier viewing:
