I to am a little colored blind with age, but I think the strike was orignially blue but with age I think the blue has faded back to one of the dominant colors which is green giving it a teal green color, but then again I'm a Newby Stamper. |

The dominant color is the important thing, and it is blue. I believe the Scott catalog "adder" for the blue cancellation is something like 25 cents (as opposed to the standard value which is for black). For a true green cancellation, it is much, much higher - something like $90. I don't think you would never get this stamp certified as having a green cancellation. |
