So...if I ever want to find this great image with its wonderful cancel again I just search the database using the word "blue" and this image will immediately pop up?

I'm color blind too. For people like us, identifying some colors is extremely difficult.

It looks blue-green to me...

Notwithstanding the color, it is a beautiful strike!

I to am a little colored blind with age, but I think the strike was orignially blue but with age I think the blue has faded back to one of the dominant colors which is green giving it a teal green color, but then again I'm a Newby Stamper.

The dominant color is the important thing, and it is blue. I believe the Scott catalog "adder" for the blue cancellation is something like 25 cents (as opposed to the standard value which is for black). For a true green cancellation, it is much, much higher - something like $90. I don't think you would never get this stamp certified as having a green cancellation.

I see blue but it does have a greenish "flare" to it though.
