Am seriously considering just buying a USPS Yearbook along with the high value stamp packet (HVSP) as I just retired and probably can afford my excess but would rather dump it into more early high value stuff. Use the year book and the HVSP for all my needs to keep my album current. Really thinking to get rid of all my "stock" (PB's, sheets, just extra stuff…) and use any proceeds to purchase the "early" stuff. I have last years (2012) yearbook and HVSP but I never opened as a matter of fact since they just go on the shelf as a complete collectable item.

Wondering if the 2013 Yearbook and HVSP will include the coil varieties of the Flags for all Season, Bobcat, American Clock…and several other unique issues from this year? What do you think? May end up with some holes in my album?

P.S. Going to break out the 2012 issue to see just what I may have missed.

Doug

The year books at least for the past few years have included add on pacts like the one you mentioned . What you should look for is the definitive pack to include the above mentioned items .

Doug:
read your question and have been getting the yearbooks every year since 1971.
yes there was no Harry Potter page in the 2013 YB, but the stamps were released in 2013.
also let be know that an other stamp is missing from the YB: Scott #4735 66-Cent Wedding Cake Self-Adhesive
bought that one addition to add to complete my 2013 set.
and only one version of a stamp(s) printed buy different suppliers APU, AVR, BCA, CCL, GFD, SVS, and SSP is ever included. This problem has existed since the 6 cent vs. 8 cent Eisenhower stamp days. Todays multi-vender printers do things that you need a 100X microscope to tell the difference between them. [maybe a little extreme] example: 2011 Statue of Liberty and Flag Coil microprint [look elsewhere in this forum for details.]
hope this helps
Rick

Well, good news for those who collect USPS yearbooks only without stamps, the 2014 yearbook after market should be very reasonable
later next year.
