Hello fellow forum(er);
Please view the attached photo of Scott # 2482 . I think the one with the brown leaves is a color variety ( not an error) of this stamp. Please post your comments . I believe this is not a "Scott catalog" listed variety. ( ie: 2482 , 2482a )

Yes first the photo is not very helpful in the discussion. Yes under and over inking happen and while they are interesting they are not rare. At least it did not jump into anything special with Scotts.

All the same worth keeping around to enjoy. BTW the most current over inking is the new inverted Jenny. About half of what I bought have this problem, which is neat but none the less just an over-inking.

Those are some pretty cool stamps and I might have to get some for my collection. If what you have are really brown leaves it has to be a printing error. There are none listed on ebay with brown leaves. The more I look at your pictures it appears one of the stamps is missing all of the green color in other areas (the tree branch looks different).

Check this out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scott-2482a...em19b221f2fb I don't know if you have any of these but this seller is asking a lot and has offers.

Yours may be an unidentified variety not known by scott? Maybe a new #2482b ??

If you don't have a good camera look at ebay for a nikon coolpix 2100 they are what I use and I get some fantastic pictures on the closeup setting and the camera only cost about $20. You will need a memory card and cord to connect it to the computer and a rechargeable battery. It is worth the investment.

I am totally new to stamps so I might be completely off with this but the little research I have done it looks like you might have something.
