Hi,

I am new to stamp collecting and have recently purchased a new sheet of "Legends of Hollywood" from my local post office. I would like to display this sheet in my home. Is it acceptable to put this in a frame under glass, like a photograph? Or is there a better way to do this?

Thank you,

Tom

There is nothing wrong with framing it. Just keep it out of direct sunlight since the ultraviolet rays of the sun can fade colors over time.

mi77915 First..welcome to the forum, and to
the hobby...

To answer your question, you can do whatever you want
with the stamps ( that's the beauty of the hobby )However
You may want to keep that picture frame out of direct sunlight
because after time, the rays will fade the stamps.

Second, I would use one of those inexpensive frames, made out of plastic, rather than a glass frame.

Again, this is just my opinion, and you can display your stamps anyway you wish.

Welcome to the hobby, and please feel free to ask any questions.

Tom, welcome. Be sure to let us know what your collecting interests are, if you've decided. The world is yours. Also, there is a lot of good info in the past posts and polls. The search function helps.
