I'm just curious if anything jumps out as particularly collectible or valuable. I collected these as a kid in the early 70s. I've been into coins most of my life, but honestly tonight was the first time I opened the stamp box in probably 30 years. Yes, I'm too lazy to look everything up. The two sequential Natl Parks plate blocks at the end perhaps is most interesting.

Al super common. Sorry no riches to be had there. However you could get full vales as postage though. I'm not trying to be snotty or mean but just about everything from the 50's to present is worth more as postage than in the collectable market. Keep posting stuff though, you never know there just might be something worth something you have in that box!

That's what I figured. Not trying to strike it rich, just worried about storing some of them a little better if there were any gold nuggets in there. I have a bunch of used stamps to go through as well. Lots of world stamps too. I'm certain there are no upside-down airplanes. :) Thanks for the reply.

You can always come back to stamp collecting. It's more fun now than when we were kids in the 70s :) And it sure was fun then. But now as adults, we can actually get those stamps that were out of our reach back then. That was one of the best things for me when I came back.

I concur that it is all pretty common. It is a shame that the postage value is greater than the collector amount. That is until you have to buy them for some project as I do from time to time.
