i just went out to pick up the newspaper and I see the average annual cost for having a dog is one thousand to 2 thousand dollars a year..includes vets costs etc...thats a lot of stamps !!

Yes, and stamps neither bite nor do they ruin your furniture
And they don't bark as well!

On the other hand they certainly need equally, if not more attention than a dog

I also have 3 dogs. All are rat terriers. Their names are Schroeder, Sally, and Patti. Yes, they are named after The Peanuts characters.

i have 3 kids..all went to community college at the same time..we had a fleet (5) automobiles in the driveway..i told em live here as long as you like.but when you leave...don't even think about coming back here to live !!

Yes, we too have dogs-two Bassets--one (Gussyboy)has Addison's disease where he has to have monthly steroid shot and daily prednisone tablet. Almost lost him 2 years ago on Christmas eve--cost $1500 to save him in the doggy ICU--they wanted the money up front,too. Had we not saved him he would have died an awful death--we don't regret keeping the old hound around--he was my dgtr's graduation from high school present per her request but he's really OUR dog. BUT after this--no more dogs.
