I have run into a problem as I attempt to add new US Plate Blocks to my personal collection. I keep running into new issues that appear to have "Dry Gum". I am familiar with what "Dry Gum" is, but my question is how can I tell if a particular issue is supposed to have "Dry Gum". Does anyone know of a compiled (even partial) list of the US stamp issues that one can expect to find with Dry Gum?

I have read the previous posts on this site regarding #1907, #1932 and #1933, and have run into each of these. In a recent Plate Block shipment I came across some that are new to me: #1584, #1594, #1860, #1861, and #2239. So I am looking for a way that I can identify these myself (reference doc or list), or if someone else has knowledge of the above mentioned issues maybe they can share the info with me.

Thanks,
Larry

The Scott Specialized U.S. catalog does list a number of other dry gum issues for definitive stamps - Scott 1278, 1280, 1283B, 1289, 1290, 1297, 1304, 1305E, 1305C, 1393, 1393D, 1395 and 1401. Some of the last postage due stamps have it too. As for a list outside of Scott's, I don't know.

Also, welcome to the forums Larry.

Although I can't guarantee its accuracy, this link may offer some help:

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. Looks like I will need to keep my own list and add to it as I make new discoveries.

Thanks for the welcome as well.
