It wasn't a show but a browse. No frames or displays. I also found a RK46 on document, various RNs, several stock certificates with and without stamps and a few other items. All in all a pretty good trip.

Nothing beats a good show,I always enjoy talking to dealers and fellow collectors. I'm patiently waiting for the upcoming
St.Louis stamp expo in March.

Well, here I am in York and did not know this was the date for the show. Was it only today Saturday 25th?

Here's a related news article. Note how the writer is suggesting that the increased postage rate to 49-cents is yet another reason why it gets harder to get kids interested in stamp collecting today. While it certainly has an impact, you can collect other aspects of stamps and not every new issue. Even some seasoned collectors note that they can't keep up with all the new issues, either.
