Scott 442 Coil Pair. Imperf With Fake Perfs?

From ebay, this is a nice looking pair. Almost too nice. Makes me wonder if these are fake perfs on imperf stamps. I don't see the "pin pull", the perfs seem to be too round and smooth. The right edge looks off, too.

They're in that price range where a cert costs about as much as the stamps...

It's remarkable anyone would fake a 442, with as much supply as there is... but, who knows what the case might have been (and the relative value 100 yrs ago) ...

In general, the perforations made for flat plate coil stamps should overall not line up with each other from row to row since they were perforated by rotating wheels while the perforations made for rotary press coil stamps should overall lineup with each other from row to row since they were perforated by rotating bars. Since Scott # 442 is a flat plate coil then they should not line up nicely as shown in the picture above but they should be like the other linked examples that have at least one row of perforations that doesn't line up. However, I would hope to hear further on this by U.S. coil collecting experts since I am mostly into perforations in general.
