the washington stamp has a 190 wmk(there is a small "s" in the middle" and it seems like imperf?
but there is no such stamp in the catalog.
Or it is actually not imperf? the margin is wide...

besides, any good instrument to identify wmks? it is so hard to identify them... especially for used ones.

It is a two sided straight edge stamp. The straight edges are along the left and top sides with lines. The other sides both right and bottom appear to have had their perforations trimmed off. It is hard to tell the original catalog number without checking if the watermark is a double line or single line USPS watermark along with the perforation gauge measurement (which cannot be done because of the removed perforations).

Since the stamp does have a single line watermark (small "s")...
It is either #378 or #428...both were flat plate printings, just the perfs were
different. Looks to be altered to resemble #347.
It CAN NOT be #347 imperf ....that has the double line watermark.
The watermark is the key here....

any suggestion identifying watermark? it is a big problem for me...
