This is my newest addition but not exactly sure which stamp it is. I'm thinking scott #73. I don't see any grill marks and I hope my scan is such that you all might be able to help.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks kevin, I like the stamp it looks like Jackson was in a fight and got a black eye and few scratches on the head. Not that I like fighting but that is just what it looks like to me.

In stamp collecting it is as important to be able to recognize faults as it is to identify stamps correctly. You identified the stamp correctly. Great. Now you need to learn how to recognize faults and their effect on value. Your stamp is what I would call severely defective with one large, serious crease and a small, less serious crease affecting the lower right corner as you look at it from the back. Yes, I may be a picky collector but stamps like this generally have very little value when accurately described.

You are probably correct about value sinclair2010 and I don't know these things but I don't collect to resell my stamps, it is something fun for me to do. I paid a little over $6 for this stamp may not be worth that to you but it was to me. And I sure the heck have wasted more then $6 on other things. It looks nice to me from the front and that is all that matters. I did want to get it in my collection in the correct spot so I was asking for conformation on scott #.
