Yes...Colorado. No way to positively identify the city though.

However, if you rotate the image it looks to be an "r, Colo." suggesting "Denver, Colo." is the most likely location, although there could be a number of other options, too. Any other specifics have been lost with the cover that contained the remainder of the city name.
