My profile says I joined a year ago, but I haven't been around much since then. Been concentrating on the coins, but I'm thinking I really need to get busy with the stamps again. So I'm re-introducing myself.

I am not an experienced stamp collector. I only started a few years ago, and my collection is strictly topical -- stamps with American flags on them, even if the flag is not the main motif. A stamp qualifies even if the flag is just in the background or flying above the building pictured. I've been concentrating on U.S. stamps, but I sometimes find some from other countries -- notably Olympic commemoratives -- that show American flags.

I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here and sharing the excitement.

Jan
