I collect perfins casually, but do not have a catalog to determine scarcity factors, etc., however, this excerpt suggests that any perfin on a Scott E7 Special Delivery stamp is indeed scarce: As for the Cud/ahy perfin on the stamp in question, it is attributed to the Cudahy (Meat) Packing Co. of Chicago: http://www.encyclopedia.chicagohist...es/2635.html |

wt1....guess that explains it. Based on your info, this would be the ONLY CUDAHY perfin on a #E7. thanks....Kevin |

Anyone want to guess the final price??? As a bonus....if you guess within $2.50 higher or lower....(so a $5 window) I will send the closest a set of 4...#1686-9 Bicentennial SS, unused, NH. (in case of ties....first guess in wins) OK. |

Ooh, tough one to guess. I'd say $65. Only two serious bidders at the moment, but you never know who might have set a snipe in for it.

According to ebay page view counter..... stamp is getting plenty of views. (actually I dont think they are very accurate.... sometimes I get a bid on a item and it shows no page views) Better yet....I will give the S/S to the closest guess. |
