I think this is a Type 4 (#9), almost certainly 86R1L. It would help to see more of the LL corner in high res.

Classic Coins and Stallzer that is an exact match for my stamp. Thank-you very much for helping me to identify the position and plate. It is a very cool dbl transfer and I am very happy with it. Wow these Franklins put a whole new spin on collecting and are very entertaining.

The give-away on the type is the re-cut upper curved line so it's definitely a Type IV and must be from Plate 1 Late as Type IV stamps only come from Plate 1 Late.

I came into this one late but since some were thinking it was Type II, I thought I'd point out the difference.

Hope this helps, Ray

stallzer you did not have a clue, even though you had the stamp in hand. It was classic coins who plated it. Again proving your ignorance.

I had it plated at this point and found an exact duplicate to demonstrate, not my fault you can't read between the lines.

Since you are selling yours for a buy it now price of $300, I'll tell you what. I'm going to offer you a great opportunity to make a few bucks. I'd be willing to let my copy go for $245.00 but only to you.

Then you can make $50+, and my copy is in much better condition than yours, step up to the plate ?
