It's the First Day of Issue, Utah Centennial envelope by Art Craft. The envelope has 4 three cent stamps, the stamps are purple and show a covered wagon pulled by oxen, overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. It was canceled July 24, 1947, Salt Lake City, Utah. It is imprinted "This is the Place and" 1847 The Utah Centennial 1947". The envelope has an engraving of the Mormon Temple, Brigham Young and the Seagull Monument and states "100th Anniversary. Commemorating the journey of the Mormons under Brigham Young to the shores of Salt Lake, Utah 1847-1947". I have taken this info from
