I'm new here to the forum, although I've been lurking for a little while. I'm looking for a place to talk about stamps, ask questions, maybe answer some, too. And yes, I'm a transfer from another forum that I grew tired of.
I've 51 years old, and I've been collecting since I was 10 years old. I don't say no to any stamps, but I mainly collect U.S. and Canada, and I'm considering starting a Great Britain album. I still collect the old-fashioned way: I buy new U.S. issues at the post office or through their website (ok, that's not so old-fashioned; I've
inherited a few collections; I buy stamps at the local club's show every year; friends and family get them for me when they travel. I don't use
ebay...it scares me a bit. I'll trade and make purchases with other forum members.
Let's talk about stamps!
