Taking one look at the trashcan stamps that are foisted upon the American public tells you which Postmaster (current or former) is on the correct side of this debate.

There is no correct side of this "debate". There is only the personal tastes of whoever happens to be posting. That's all this is, an exercise in "this is what I like (or dislike).
Personally, I think this article makes the old boy sound like he is getting senile.
