Can anyone tell me what these lines on this stamp are caused by..??

The one on the left is a cut line, it's where the sheet was cut into 4 panes. These were printed in 400 subject plates and cut into 4 panes of 100. Right side looks like a wiping smear

Good stuff stallzer...That means only 16 stamps out of 400 would show the cut line...Interesting...Thanks.

Wert, I believe you are not talking about the bright line on the left, but some barely visible lines next to it. I can just barely make them out on my display, but I believe they are the same as the ones on the far right side. Poor wiping of the plates.

Actually it would be 76 that would fall on the cut line but yes, 16 possible positions for yours.

Scott #534, Type Va, off-set printing. Appears to me to be some light/slight kiss print doubling outside the right frame line and across Washington's forehead up into the hair line. Can't tell if there is other doubling; cancelling could be obscuring some? Probably just the very minor doubling showing.
