These are the exact same kind of comments heard in 1869 when the US issued the pictorial stamp series. Funny how times change yet people stay the same. Don
I don't like it at all and would not purchase it but that's because I am more in tune with realistic art; that's my preference. Other people enjoy and appreciate this stamp's style of art. Although it appears to be very simplistic and maybe even childlike, it takes skill to draw like this. Just ask any cartoonist just how easy it is to draw cartoons. It ain't as easy as it looks. In the end, most stamp users won't give a hoot about the design; they just want their mail delivered.
