I've been printing my pages for panes from the Press Sheets of various stamps. The Postal Bulletin says that the Global: Silver Bells Wreath press sheets cost $69.00. This works out to 6 panes per press sheet, but the Plate Position Diagram on the reverse shows a sheet of 15 panes. Is the USPS actually creating mine-press sheets on higher value stamps? When the USS Arizona press sheets were issued earlier in the year, the USPS actually called them mini-press sheets. No so with this Global stamp.
They've done this on an occasion or so in the past. The Purple Heart press sheets were sold in mini-press sheets of 3 panes as I recall. The pane locator indicated a 3x7 layout ... 21 panes!
