Howdy Ya'll. My name is Gary and I'm from Texas. I'm new to this stamp stuff, so I've got a few questions, which I'm hoping the forum can answer. I'm actually more of a coin guy, but I recieved some stamps as part of an estate package I purchased a month or so ago, and I wanted to find out more about what I have and what they might be worth, if anything.

At any rate, I'll see you all out there on the boards.

How y'all are, Gary? Welcome to the SCF. I lived in Brownwood, Texas, in the mid-1990's... what a great place. Where do you live?

I collect (along with a few other things) Air Postal History of the State of Texas.

I also specialise in Costa Rica, and collect the coins and banknotes from there, too.

Show us some pictures of the estate package and we can help you out.

Cheers!

David

Coins & stamps sometimes comingle in our collections. For instance the 1893 World Columbian Exposition had the 1st set of commemorative stamps and coins issued for it.
