About a month ago I had commented on how nice some of the Chinese stamps were that ZhangCheng was selling. We later emailed each other and I don't remember if he volunteered or I asked about getting a cover from China.

In any event I thought I was going to get a simple letter sent to me from China so that I could have a cover from China. Now Zang did tell me it was large.

In return I said I would send something back for his effort. Some where in our conversations and effort at communicating in English I must of missed something.

Today I received a large brown cover addressed to me and adorned with 10 beautiful birds stamps. That was all that I was expecting, however as soon I I picked up the cover I knew there was something inside.

Inside were 10 additional covers from China, some of the most beautiful covers that I have ever seen. What adds to these covers it that this is the first time I have seen Chinese writing up close.

It was hard to believe someone that I didn't know and never bought anything from would just send me these great covers. I still find it hard to believe that I know someone or at least corresponded with some one from China. I now know I lot more about Tangshan City then I did yesterday. I was sad to learn that over 255,000 people died during a bad earthquake in 1976.

I can't thank Zang and others enough for there generosity. I would try to list everyone but I am afraid I would miss someone and I don't want to offend anyone.

So True Stamp People are just plain good people and I am proud to be one of them and now some many nice people.

Zang I'm not sure when you mailed everything but it look like 2-10-09 so it takes about a month for the mail to move between you home and my home.

You're absolutely right MK. 99.98 percent are. It's that other blasted .02 percent that ruin the trust we all used to have in each other.

That's true Phil, unfortunately, the internet allows the bad guys to hide too easy. They can be named Maryland Stamps one day and Arizona Stamps the next.

That's what's so nice about our little 'closed' community. We get to control who we deal with and so we can trust each other more. I can remember buying $100 worth of stamps and having the guy ship and tell me to send the check when I could.
