I went to PIPEX 2015 this weekend and was able to find the few missing stamps in my US Airmail collection. The Graf Zeps and Baby Zep were empty slots I have been wanting to fill for quite some time. C13-C15 are MLH, and C18 is MNH. While I would have liked all MNH, the set was beautiful and more importantly available at the right price. Now all is good in the world.   |

I agree, going after "graded" versions of the Zepps was more than I wanted to spend, so I just got the best (mint) I could afford. And I remember the joy and realizing my collection of airmail stamps was complete. Well, the mint singles, anyway. I have mint plate blocks for C7-C150 (minus the Zepps!), and that is as complete as the PB collection is going to get.

Yes - Congrats, I still have 2 to locate. That is if I can every quit fussing with Washington/Franklin stuff which I'm now addicted to. |

I recently tracked down an affordable used C13 with a minimal cancel at the American Dealers NYC show, but my budget needs a breather before I hunt for the C14 & C15 Zeps. |
