Sara (& Others):

Here's my set of Parcel Post. I really like the looks of them. The middle-value stamps would be great for transportation collectors -- a nice train, ship, and an airplane!

I hope it's OK to post pics just for 'bragging rights' ?

That is a great complete page. Nice precancel on the bi-place from St Louis MO. The Back of Book (BOB) stamps are always a nice change of pace to commemoratives and definites, especially used.

BTW it is OK to post pics for "bragging rights" or for no other reason than to share.

Thanks, stamperdude.

I'm not sure what kind of plane that is, but I like the stamp. It doesn't show in the scan, but if you look closely, it reads "Aeroplane Carrying Mail" -- it's been a while since we called them AERO... instead of AIR...

KirkS,
It's a little better then you think. That St. Louis precancel (L-2) is one of the more valuable/rare from that city. Add at least an additional $5.

Nice,
Mike

Thanks, Mike.

You're right - I never considered that the precancel would add value.

That's a very nice looking page! You have some great cancels there. I especially like your Q6 and Q11.

Thanks, laswabbie.

The "Providence, R.I." shows up pretty good on the Q11.

Kirk actually this is a very hard set to find very fine centering on.
Your used set has quite a few nicely centered ones for this issue.
Thanks for posting.

Nice looking group, Kirk. Sorry it took me awhile to find them.
I would think it's okay to post for just about any reason! At least half the fun of collecting is showing off the little devils! And mac is right on the money about good centering. It's tough to find.
I didn't know about the St Louis precancel either, but it sounds like good news to me. Thanks for sharing!
