Looking closely, I see what appears to be a very faint guide line, but maybe a plate scratch? Any ideas?

I disagree with the previous poster, simply not true!

Not a guide line, unless you were thinking of a layout line.

I find you stamp to be very nice.

I'm not sure what caused the line, but am thinking maybe a layout line.

Cheers

I actually agree with both of the posters.

If you search hard enough (by flyspecking) you will always find something.

It is probably an un-erased layout line.

Thanks for the info. The hunt continues.

Partime

When you wrote "If you search hard enough (by flyspecking) you will always find something", on every stamp?

Again, I strongly disagree, just not true. I will say there are certain issues where more plate varieties occur.

Cheers

OK, I stand corrected. You will ALMOST always find something. That's half the fun anyway. Cheers!
