hallo, Stamps of 1879 were printed by the American Bank Note Company on soft porous paper, stamp is soft porous paper, perf 12?. no is not perf.

$24 1879 Dark violet - Pax, Goddess of Peace - soft porous paper American Bank Note Co. PR76

is not Dark violet, is gray black or black?

This forgery is probably over 100 years old; it has been mounted in albums and has been well handled/damaged.
