The "somewhere in Hawaii" is the town of Wailuku on the island of Maui!

I guess the old half penny stamps were taken off sale on August 1, 1969, so this postmark commemorates the last day they were sold. The postmark is from a place called Halfpenny Green, in the Midlands.
