Man time goes quickly at my age ! It was 6 months ago already in October that we made the beautiful 3 hour drive up the Vermont/New Hampshire border to Queechy Vermont..it will be a fun day with good company..imagine a yard sale with 20 stamp vendors present..thats what its like..small and medium sized stamp dealers..not physical small..business small..they always bring bargains along..have a good day everyone !

Hi Philb,

Have a safe trip. We have a 100 mile drive today. Going to Mandan (by Bismarck)but we have to be concerned with the weather/road conditions. Hope your driving conditions are not too bad.

I'm confused.(that's not difficult to do)

First you talk in past tense..

Quote:
It was 6 months ago

Then you talk in future tense..

Quote:
it will be a fun day

Have you already been or are you going??
Is this something you do every 6 months?

Steve

Yes I did! I was there from 11:30 to 2:30. I spent all my time hunched over the cover boxes at Don Tocher's table.
I walked around at 2:30 looking for you. I saw someone enthusiastically going thorough stamps in a stockbook at a table near the food window that I thought might be you.
I almost tapped him on the shoulder and asked "Are you Phil?" but I chickened out (oops, no offense, chicken).

Nothing on the way up and just a little wintry mix on the way home, which quickly turned to light rain as I drove south.

I heard that too from the nice woman greeting people at the door.
