Thanks, Sinclair, I know the stamps are in poor condition, but they still had me curious. Good or bad . . . they are what they are!

I always leave the stamps on the cover, not because it has any more monetary value, but because it is more historic. You can see who it was for, when it was sent, and often read the letter. It is fun for me to read the letters inside when possible.

I agree with that. There is definitely something both historic and nostalgic about old covers.
