I parked my car and got out at this roadside yard sale, nobody was around...a display table had "freebies" leftover, I grabbed a few magazines and looked closer to see what it was hanging out of dumpster just off to the side. As I looked in I discovered a collection of somebodies personal belongings just trashed into this large bin, I seen what was an old postage stamp catalogue or similar, just a magazine size, but old, I knew it was old, I like old. so I dove in, haha! I grab up this little booklet and hopped out, went back to my car and turned the pages and realized I had found something of collectable interest, so I stashed it in my briefcase and forgot about it. one year passed and I came to another yard sale and bought up an old envelope with some rare stamps all sorted out nice and seemed to be of similar antiquity and so I paid the 1.389 and proceeded to stash them into my briefcase with the others I had acquired. Now, I never collected stamps before, but I did have one other very old stamp I found on the inside cover of an old Bible I bought from a sale, still cant tell anyone for sure of its full particulars, tho I have searched and searched around. I decided to put the stamps into a proper safe keeping album and deal with it whenever I had time, well as a result from trying to preserve these stamps into a safe keeping album has led into a serious collection, just as a hobby tho. Frequently spending days and days and hours chasing around leads and sales asking around, searching high and low for any stamps I can get my hands on, and I must admit I have acquired some true rarities, anyways my name is irrelevant, some folks call me GLOBO when I am on a World Wide Platform, for the time I kinda like it that way and after I achieve the rank I need to post more interesting posts I will be simply asking folks to help me out with whatever they can, in return I promise to show some promise as a collector, for now its just a hobby I thoroughly seem to enjoy, kk..questions,comments and concerns? please feel free to acquaint yourself and we can be hobbiests collecting or collecting as hobbiests, cant figure it out because folks say well, if your a collector then you will pay collector prices for my rare stamps, I say yep, they are your collection and I will make a hobby of sorting through it if you are willing to sell to me, that's where im at folks... cheers and thanks
