I have about 20 5 strips from the US Sc# 1897-1908 Transportation Issue without plate numbers. I see no entry for such in Scott or Gibbons.

Is this common? How are such stamps valued?

Thanks,

Juan

Hi Juan, and a very welcome to this forum. Strips without plate numbers are not listed as such because there is no value other the catalog value for a single stamp times 5. Generally spoken most Transportation Coils are valued as postage by collectors, unless there is a plate number. Does this help?

Peter
