These two are mint, never-hinged, and post-office fresh -- with a whopping catalog value of about one dollar

I don't care about that though; I just like the way they look...

I like that attitude! I have many more 20 cent stamps than 20 dollar stamps. I agree it's not the value - it's the love affair with them.

Lovely stamps!

One of my collections is used U.S. air mail. I cannot wait to get the new computer and scanner up. I have an imperf single of the blue one (from a Farley's Follies pane) and a red & blue one that is off centre. The Great Seal is over to the left.
