Nice ones Tina. I love the US Airmails. When I started collecting, they were the first pages I tried to fill.

The Eagle with the Shield (C23) is one of my favorites. It and the Winged Globe (C4) are both popular.

Well hello Dan,nice to meet you.Ya when I first started stamp collecting (6 months ago)there was always that question "what is it that you collect?" to be honest when I first joined, my main thought was find somebody who ,stamps are their passion in life. Then I started really learning ALOT,it's hard to explain if you only knew my story, but being new how could you? short run down,I inherited my grandfathers quite large collection, when it was given to me,I just thought wow,how borng STAMPS so off to the garage they went.A couple years later,I was out in my garage, and I heard something calling me,but the sound was coming out of one of my grandfathers stamp box.So me curious as a ferret, opened it up and started to see what was so interesting to grandpa about stamps.Onto the internet I went and I ended up here on SFC,met some wonderful and very helpful,i just cant tell you how great this group of people are,if you stick around for awhile you will find yourself on here any chance you can at least I try to but I have 4 boys at home so its hard for me.I was just like you when I started, couldnt download a picture and post for i'd say 3 months, until one of the guys had to call me on the telephone and walk me through it,so many of the guys tried to help me but I finally did it and so will you.Harry which stamp is it you are referring to,please describe haven't mastered the scott numbers just yet, give me just alittle more time

It's the 1939 Trans-Atlantic Issue or the 30 cent globe with wings, very nice light cancellation on yours, mines mint but just a tad off center.
I think you will be a pillar before me Tina so keep up the good work girl also the more inquisitive you are the more you learn.
