Count the points.

Here is a quick Wikipedia explanation of grill size and points: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grill_(philately)

Here is another link that might help: https://www.americanstampdealer.com....aspx?id=272

And here is a previous discussion from out of the past:

The Grill is Very hard to Read with my eye sight even with the USB magnifier I purchased just for this is still hard. I could zoom in but I wouldn't know where to with the USB magnifier. Would you happen to know? Also thank you so.

Oliver, did they explain about grills? Also, did they identify the stamp as US Scott Number 94?

Okay, I'll bite. The 94 I get - that's the Scott number.

What's the "#10"? Is that a reference to someone's gauge for grills?

By the way, while we're deciphering things. The adhesive of choice for U.S. postage stamps was based on "gum Arabic" and for that reason philatelists refer to it as "gum" rather than "glue." Since mucilage and other types of glue were sometimes used to mount stamps in old collections (mainly by school children) it is less ambiguous to adhere to that convention.

essayk, I believe the "#" in front of the 10 was a typo. I think he meant to write "$10", which is the catalog value.

Ahhhh. Sorry. I wasn't trying to be picky. I just didn't get it.

Maybe I got too stuck on your "glue" and didn't catch that.
Got it now. Thanks for the heads-up, machine99.
