I am new to this website. I have been collecting a little more than 6 months. I inherited my collection from my grandfather. Him and I were extremely close, so I have decided to keep up his collection--which was actually started by HIS father. HIs collection was mainly US but he did have one of those junior worldwide albums. I have decided to work on filling in his US (mint only) and world album (for now either mint or used). However, I have also started my own collection of Costa Rica. I'm in deep!

Hello and welcome. If you are focusing on mint, you might want to investigate the issue of hinges and why most people use mounts today.

Canada Stamp,

I am against hinges! I know it is going to cost more to constantly purchase mounts but I feel that it is both worth it and necessary. It is also going to take me longer to get everything in albums, but again, still worth it!
