Hi all, been a while since I have posted anything but I read this forum religiously and find it incredibly helpful. I picked up a few covers this weekend at an auction and thought I might post to get some help identifying. One day I will pick up the Chase book and try to plate these.... thanks in advance for your help.

The color on this first one was awesome and different. Possibly rose but I highly doubt the rare plum shade. I placed it next to a brown that I had for color comparison.

Shannon,

Your stamp with the numeral 3 cancel almost certainly is a deep claret color (#11A) . . . hard to be 100 percent certain from scans. It appears to have two lines recut in the upper left triangle. We could plate it from your large image.

All four of the imperforates you show are #11A.

All of the perforated stamps are #26.
